These Terms of Use govern the use of the UseFinLit mobile application (“App”). By downloading or using the App, you agree to these terms.
1. Service Description
UseFinLit is a mobile application providing financial literacy education. It offers trade simulation with a virtual portfolio, AI-powered educational feedback, and gamification features. The App does not provide investment advice and is not a licensed investment advisory service.
2. Account Creation
You must create an account with a valid email address to use the App. You are responsible for the security of your account information. You must notify us immediately if you suspect unauthorized use of your account.
3. Subscriptions and Payments
- Premium subscriptions are purchased and managed through the Apple App Store or Google Play Store.
- Subscriptions auto-renew unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
- Payment is charged to your iTunes/Google Play account upon confirmation of purchase.
- If a free trial period is offered, any unused portion is forfeited upon purchasing a subscription.
- Cancellation can be done from device settings or the subscription management page of the relevant store.
4. Usage Rules
You agree to use the App in compliance with applicable laws. The following behaviors are prohibited:
- Reverse engineering, copying, or modifying the App
- Collecting data using automated tools (bots, scrapers, etc.)
- Behavior that negatively affects other users’ experience
- Using misleading or false account information
5. Intellectual Property
The App and all its content (educational materials, design, software code, trademarks) are the property of UseFinLit and protected by copyright laws. Unauthorized copying, distribution, or commercial use of content is prohibited.
6. Virtual Portfolio: No Monetary Value, No Claims
UseFinLit is an educational simulation. All transactions, virtual portfolios, virtual balances, virtual profit/loss amounts, virtual return rankings, badges, levels, and any other simulation outputs in the App are solely for educational purposes and have no monetary value whatsoever.
No order is executed on any real exchange, broker, or financial institution; no order is routed to real markets. Virtual balance cannot be redeemed for cash, transferred to another account, gifted, used as a means of payment, or converted into any real-world asset. Virtual currency does not represent any fiat currency, cryptocurrency, security, stock, or any financial instrument.
The user may not assert, against UseFinLit, Mergebase LTD, its affiliates, or any third party, any right, claim, compensation, dividend, payment, refund, product, service, or similar demand based on the virtual portfolio balance, virtual profit/loss, virtual leaderboard ranking, badges, levels, or any simulation output whatsoever. No guarantee is made that simulation results will be reproduced under real market conditions; past simulation performance is not indicative of future real-market results.
UseFinLit does not provide investment advisory services and is not a licensed brokerage or regulated financial services provider. Nothing in the App — including AI-generated feedback and simulation results — may be interpreted as investment advice, a promise of profit, a buy/sell signal, or a financial recommendation. Real investment decisions must be based solely on personalized advice from licensed professionals.
7. Limitation of Liability
UseFinLit is an educational application. Content provided does not constitute investment advice. Virtual trade results do not guarantee real market performance. UseFinLit cannot be held liable for losses arising from users’ real investment decisions. The App is provided “as is” without guarantee of uninterrupted or error-free operation.
8. Account Termination
You can delete your account at any time from app settings or by writing to [email protected]. In case of violation of these terms, your account may be suspended or terminated without prior notice.
9. Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Turkey. Istanbul Courts and Enforcement Offices have jurisdiction over disputes.
