Virtual Portfolio Disclaimer

This document explains the scope, limitations, and disclaimer terms accepted by the user regarding the Portfolio feature of the UseFinLit mobile application. By using the Portfolio feature, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to these terms.

1. What is the Virtual Portfolio?

The UseFinLit Portfolio feature is an educational simulation that allows users to learn about markets, investment instruments, and portfolio management without risking real money. Each user is assigned a virtual starting balance, and all transactions made with this balance are recorded solely within the application. The sole purpose of the Portfolio feature is financial literacy education.

2. Market Data

The prices, volumes, charts, and company information shown in the App are provided for informational and educational purposes only. Data may be delayed, incomplete, approximate, or not fully accurate, and must not be used as real-time market data. UseFinLit makes no warranty, express or implied, regarding the accuracy, completeness, or timeliness of the data. Users may not make real investment decisions based on this data.

3. Simulated Transactions

All buying, selling, tracking, and portfolio activity performed in the App is simulation only. No transaction is executed on any real exchange, broker, or financial institution; no order is routed to real markets. The virtual currency does not represent any fiat currency, crypto asset, security, stock, or any financial instrument. The virtual balance cannot be redeemed, transferred, gifted, or used as any form of payment.

4. Not Investment Advice

UseFinLit does not provide investment advisory services, is not a licensed brokerage, and does not operate as a regulated financial services provider. Nothing in the App — including AI-generated feedback and simulation results — may be interpreted as investment advice, a promise of profit, a buy/sell signal, or a financial recommendation. Real investment decisions should be made only on the basis of personalized advice from licensed professionals.

5. No Rights or Claims

Users may not assert, against UseFinLit, its affiliates, or any third party, any right, claim, compensation, dividend, payment, refund, product, service, or similar demand based on the virtual portfolio balance, virtual profit/loss, virtual leaderboard ranking, badges, levels, or any simulation output whatsoever. No guarantee is made that simulation results will be reproduced under real market conditions; past performance is not indicative of future results.

6. Acceptance and Liability

By using the Portfolio feature or approving the in-app notice, you represent that you have read, understood, and unconditionally accepted this disclaimer. UseFinLit shall under no circumstances be held liable for any real-world investment decisions made based on content, simulation results, or AI feedback from the App, nor for any direct or indirect loss — including profits, losses, loss of income, or opportunity cost — arising from such decisions.
